Agathe D.Veterinary TechnicianLicensed Veterinary Technician Agathe joined the team at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital in June 2015 and has been a part of the animal care field for many years. She is a licensed veterinary technician in the state of New York, and holds an associate's degree in veterinary medicine. Agathe's favorite part of working at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital is the group of veterinarians and staff she works with on a daily basis.
She says, 'Everybody here is compassionate! We all love what we do and we all help each other in difficult situations.'
At home, Agathe has two dogs named Lyla and Annabelle, and a rabbit named Grims. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking with her dogs, gardening, and shopping.

Amber H.Veterinary TechnicianLicensed Veterinary Technician Amber joined the RAH team in 2018. They hold an Associates of Applied Science degree in veterinary technology from SUNY Ulster and a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry with ACS from Marist College. Amber is a licensed veterinary technician in the state of New York.
They enjoy their work at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital, remarking 'Everyone here truly cares about the clients and their pets. There's also a strong feeling of teamwork, and support is always available when needed.'.
At home, Amber has several pets: three cats named Kit-kat, Columbia, and Zagreus, 2 unnamed hermit crabs, and several hundred worms! In addition to their work and educational pursuits, their hobbies include reading, playing board games, and getting outside whenever they can. -
Tierney F.Veterinary TechnicianLicensed Veterinary Technician Tierney started working for RAH in August 2022. She graduated from SUNY Ulster in May 2022 with an AAS in Veterinary Technology. Tierney is a licensed veterinary technician in the state of New York. When asked about why she likes working at RAH she replies, 'I love working at RAH because we all work together to provide the best possible care to all of our patients. I look forward to coming to work each day and continuing to learn from my passionate and dedicated colleagues.'.
At home, Tierney has 3 cats, Duncan, Daisy, and Tiger Woods. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Lexi W.Veterinary TechnicianLicensed Veterinary Technician Lexi joined Rhinebeck Animal Hospital in January of 2023. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at SUNY Ulster, and is Fear Free Certified.
She loves working at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital for many reasons, including her life-long love of animals, the amazing staff she works with, and the clients with whom she has built lasting relationships.
Lexi has two Pitbull mixes named Theo and Dutch. Her hobbies include hiking, fishing, and doing puzzles. In the future, Lexi would like to go back to school to become certified with exotic pets.

Heather D.Veterinary TechnicianHeather is a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital. She graduated from SUNY Delhi with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 1997 and has a diverse background in animal care. She has experience in shelter and emergency medicine and specializes in pet bereavement, helping people struggling with pet loss and anticipatory grief. She also has a Bachelor's from Marist in Elementary Education/Students with Disabilities and a Master's from Mercy College in Literacy.
Heather enjoys her 'second family' at RAH, commending their 'compassion, teamwork, and drive to do what is best for the pets and clients.'
Outside of work, Heather loves spending time with her family. Her daughter is involved in 4-H with her goats and dance classes, and her son is on a travel soccer team! In her free time, she enjoys taking dance classes, photography, gardening, and spending time with friends. She aspires to expand on her special interest in pet bereavement, hosting individual and group sessions.
