Remote Veterinary Assistant Sidney realized her love for animals at a young age when she started rescuing and rehabilitating stray cats with her mother. She graduated with a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine in 2023. She has worked in both public veterinary hospitals, and privately owned institutions, focusing mainly on small animals. She works primarily with Dr. Van Demark - and through him, her knowledge and skills, particularly with exotic animals, improve and grow every day.
Sidney also works as a freelance model and makeup artist. In her spare time, she loves taking care of her plants and her two dogs. She is still rescuing and rehabilitating stray cats with her mother.
Remote Veterinary Assistant Aprilyn has experience working in the veterinary field since 2022. She has a strong passion for volunteering in community services that focus on stray animals. She has previously participated in volunteer service at Blantyre SPCA. She enjoys her role as RVA in RAH as the staff is very welcoming and charming.
She has a Shih Tzu named Bubu and she believes that her spirit animal is a Panda. She is an outdoor enthusiast who is always eager to try new activities. She loves to explore new places and cultures. As someone who lives in a tropical climate, she has always wanted to experience the Aurora Borealis, autumn, and snow.'
Remote Veterinary Assistant Christina has been working as a veterinary virtual assistant since 2020.
Christina is a full-time working mom. In her spare time, she likes traveling, especially motorcycle riding with her favorite travel buddy - her husband. She also enjoys going outdoors with family and friends or simply spending a relaxing time at home. She says, “Life, for me, is too short to be anything but happy.”
Remote Veterinary Assistant, Rhoanne has two years of experience working at a 24-hour emergency clinic, where she gained valuable insights into the veterinary field and developed a deep passion for animal care. She says she chose a remote job to continue learning about the veterinary industry while spending quality time with her family, who share her love for animals. She believes that caring for animals and supporting her loved ones go hand in hand, creating a fulfilling and balanced life.
In her free time, she enjoys watching K-dramas and gardening, finding joy in nurturing both plants and pets. She is the proud pet parent to four rescue strays: two dogs, Choey and Borgy, and two cats, Rudolph and Omi, along with her little angel cat in heaven, Landlord.
Remote Veterinary Assistant Dara has worked with animal clinics since 2022, gaining hands-on experience in animal care and veterinary support, as well as remote experience assisting in administrative tasks and client communication.
Regarding Rhinebeck Animal Hospital, she remarks that it is rewarding being part of a team that values growth, compassion, and high-quality animal care. She adds that the team takes time to teach new skills, answer questions, and help her improve each day.
In her free time, Dara enjoys traveling and exploring new places, as well as activity such as running, walking, hiking and working out. She also values spending quality time with her family. In addition to expanding her knowledge and expertise in the veterinary industry, she aspires to create stability, opportunities, and a better future for herself and her family.
Remote Veterinary Assistant Sherelyne has worked in the veterinary field since 2022, developing a strong foundation through her passion for animal care and skills in customer service. Additionally, she has hands-on experience with routine medical procedures and patient handling.
Sherelyne enjoys working with Rhinebeck Animal Hospital, praising the supportive team environment. She also remarks that the hospital's commitment to compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine aligns with her own values and fuels her passion for animal care.
Outside of work, Sherelyne is actively involved in CNVR (Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return) programs to help advocate the prevention of overpopulation. She loves spending her free time with her family and three Shih-poo dogs named Missy, Polgoso and Gucci. She aspires to provide her family with the best possible life by continuously improving her skills, seizing opportunities, and sharing many happy, supportive moments together.
